The brand was created by Fred Samuel, an Argentinian born in 1908. His family were accomplished within the precious stones market and he too grew up to be passionate about cultured pearls and rare stones. These ingrained foundations have stayed with him throughout his life and career, winning him recognition as a leading expert in the field. He paired this knowledge with his desire for the sunlight that illuminated his childhood in Argentina, both influences have so clearly shaped his work in such a natural yet bewildering way.
